Z Route: Redemption VS (Alliance Competition)
VS stands for versus, and in the game the event is called Alliance Competition. Every week your alliance faces another alliance over 6 days, Monday to Saturday, and each day rewards a different kind of action: Radar, construction, research, hero training, a military mix and finally combat. This page lists the schedule, the points for each action and the rewards.
VS Event Explained
Weekly alliance-vs-alliance event. Your alliance is matched against another alliance, often from another server; both race through six themed days of tasks. Each day's stage win adds to the weekly score. VS is short for versus and fits the alliance against alliance format, while the window in the game says Alliance Competition. The two names point to the same event.
Guides list a few entry requirements: Base level 10, at least 20 alliance members, and an alliance that ranks in the top 32 by power. One guide adds that the numbers can differ between servers. You score twice at once. Your own points fill personal milestone chests, and the sum of everyone's points decides whether your alliance wins the day. If you are new to the alliance system, join one before your first VS week.
VS Schedule
Six stages, Monday to Saturday, one stage per day. Sunday is a break. Each phase runs 24 hours, and the winner of a phase takes stage points for the week. The table shows all six days with the stage points they pay.
| Day | Weekday | Phase | Stage win points |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Monday | Radar Exploration | 1 |
| 2 | Tuesday | Base Construction | 2 |
| 3 | Wednesday | Tech Research | 2 |
| 4 | Thursday | Hero Training | 2 |
| 5 | Friday | Full Military Preparation | 2 |
| 6 | Saturday | Enemy Assault | 4 |
The stage points add up to 13 for the week. Saturday pays 4, twice the value of a middle day, which makes Enemy Assault the biggest swing. One guide says winning four of the six stages secures the weekly matchup, and the same guide lists a stage win reward of 25 Blue Hero EXP Chests, 25 Blue Metal Chests, 25 Blue Food Chests, 25 Blue Oil Chests, 5 Resource Chests.
VS Days and Points
Each phase pays points for a short list of actions, and everything outside that list scores nothing. That is why the best plan is to save items and spend them on the day that counts them.

VS Day 1
Day 1 is Radar Exploration and falls on Monday. A Radar Mission is the biggest single item at up to 26,250 points, one stamina point gives up to 310, and a Fighter Part gives up to 5,200. A Combat Chip is worth only 8, and gathering 10 Food or Metal gives 6. The values come from guides, and the event window shows the exact figure for your account.
Radar Missions score only on days 1, 3 and 5. Finish them whenever you like, keep the rewards uncollected, and hand them in on a Radar day. The radar page explains how missions work. Gathering that comes from Radar quests does not count, so send marches to map tiles yourself if you want gathering points. Your stamina and resources are best saved for Monday too.
Daily Milestones and Rewards
Your personal points on a day unlock up to 9 milestone chests. Two guides agree on that count, and one guide says the Alliance Competition research tree must reach 80 percent before you can collect all of them each day. The table lists the chest thresholds from the guide data, and each chest also holds resources.
| Personal points | Research Data | Other rewards |
|---|---|---|
| 38,000 | 40 | - |
| 145,000 | 40 | - |
| 550,000 | 120 | 4 blue Hero Shards, 4 Tactical Boxes, Fighter Component Chest Lv.2, 500 Refined Stone |
| 650,000 | 40 | - |
| 1,020,000 | 40 | - |
| 2,280,000 | 120 | 3 purple Hero Shards, 12 Tactical Boxes, Fighter Component Chest Lv.2, 500 Refined Stone |
| 2,630,000 | 190 | - |
| 3,620,000 | 220 | 1 orange Hero Shard, 13 Tactical Boxes, Fighter Component Chest Lv.3, 1,900 Refined Stone |
| 7,190,000 | 390 | 1 orange Hero Shard, 16 Tactical Boxes, Fighter Component Chest Lv.3, 2,300 Refined Stone |
The Day 2 task list shows the first three of these on the Tuesday screen at 650,000, 1,020,000 and 2,280,000 points. The top chest sits at 7,190,000 points, so it needs a well prepared day.
The daily ranking pays rewards too. The list below shows one version of the rank bands.
| Daily rank | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | 300 Research Data, Fighter Component Chest Lv.4, 5,000 Refined Stone, 200 purple material |
| 2-3 | 300 Research Data, 2 x Fighter Component Chest Lv.3, 3,000 Refined Stone, 120 purple material |
| 4-10 | 300 Research Data, Fighter Component Chest Lv.3, 2,000 Refined Stone, 80 purple material |
| 11-30 | 100 Research Data, Fighter Component Chest Lv.3, 1,000 Refined Stone, 40 purple material |
Weekly Rewards
Weekly personal points add up across the six days. At 1,000,000 points you receive Hero EXP and resources. At 6,000,000 points the reward depends on the result of the matchup, and the win pays about twice the Research Data of a loss.
| Result | Weekly points | Research Data | Alliance Coins | Diamonds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Defeat | 6,000,000 | 420 | 8 x 2,500 | - |
| Victory | 6,000,000 | 840 | 9 x 2,500 | 6 x 100 |
Both rows also include resources. Alliance Coins buy shields, teleports and other goods in the alliance shop, which the alliance page describes.
Daily Reset
Each VS day closes at the daily server reset, and the next phase starts right after it. Guides give different clock times for that reset, so use the countdown in the event window instead of a fixed hour. Plan your last big actions well before the timer ends.
How to Score More
The points table makes one rule clear: each item scores only on certain days, so the gain comes from timing. These habits work with the data above.
- Save speedups by type. Construction speedups score on Day 2, Day 5 and Day 6, research speedups on Day 3, Day 5 and Day 6, and training speedups on Day 5 and Day 6. Healing speedups score on Day 6 only. A construction minute is worth up to 137 points on Day 2.
- Keep UR trucks and UR Special Ops missions for Day 2. A truck dispatch pays up to 220,000 points and a Special Ops mission up to 144,000. The trucks page explains how to build the best loads.
- Time your summons. Recruiting a survivor scores 3,200 on Day 2, and recruiting a hero scores 4,000 on Day 4. See the survivors and heroes pages for what to recruit.
- Open Fighter Component Chests on Day 3, highest level first. A level 7 chest pays 1,701,000 points, about 736 times the 2,310 of a level 1 chest.
- On Day 4 use rarer hero shards first. A gold shard scores 21,000, a purple one 7,200 and a blue one 2,100.
- Do not collect a finished building on the day it finishes. Leave it uncollected and claim it on a construction day. Two guides give this advice.
- Research Alliance Composition. Guides put its task point bonus at up to 150 percent.
- Raise a shield before Day 6. A shield blocks attacks, and it comes in 8, 12 and 24 hour versions. It drops if you attack, join a rally or send a drone, so avoid those actions if you want to keep it. Shield details are on the base page.
This video walks through a VS build day and shows the task list in the event window.
VS and Mission Readiness
Mission Readiness is a separate daily event that opens at Base level 7. It runs 6 rounds a day of 4 hours each on server time, and the round themes rotate through Hero Upgrade, Base Construction, Train Soldiers, Tech Research, Fighter Enhancement. These are the same kinds of actions that VS rewards on its construction, research, hero and training days. If you have to start a long build or a research anyway, picking a moment when both events pay for it gets more from the same speedup. Other limited events are on the events page.
Dawn Breakout
Some players search for Dawn Breakout together with VS. Only one guide describes it, and it does not present it as one of the six VS phases. Treat it as a separate name until you see it in your own Events list, and keep your VS plan on the six phases above.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is VS in Z Route Redemption?
VS is short for versus and is the common name of Alliance Competition, a weekly event where your alliance is matched with another alliance. Both sides score personal and alliance points through 6 themed days, Monday to Saturday. Each day you win adds stage points to the weekly result, and Sunday is a break.
What is the VS schedule?
VS runs one phase per day from Monday to Saturday: Radar Exploration, Base Construction, Tech Research, Hero Training, Full Military Preparation, Enemy Assault. Every phase lasts 24 hours, and Sunday has no competition phase. Day 6 is worth 4 stage points, double any middle day, so Saturday decides close weeks.
What are the VS days and what scores on each?
Day 1 rewards Radar and gathering tasks, Day 2 construction, trucks and summons, Day 3 research and Fighter Component Chests, Day 4 hero training, Day 5 a mix of building, research and soldier training, and Day 6 combat. Radar Missions score on days 1, 3 and 5 only.
What should I do on VS Day 1?
Spend stamina, hand in saved Radar Missions, use Fighter Parts and Combat Chips, and gather resources by hand from map tiles. Gathering inside Radar quests does not score. A Radar Mission is worth up to 26,250 points on this day, so save missions for it instead of cashing them in earlier.
How do I win a VS week?
Stage wins add up to 13 weekly points across the six days: 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 4. One guide says that winning four of the six stages secures the matchup. Match your biggest saved resources to the right day, and keep a shield up for the final day.
What is Dawn Breakout?
Dawn Breakout is a name some players search for next to VS. Only one guide covers it, and no guide shows it as a VS phase, so this page does not count it among the six days. Open the Events list in the game to see whether it is running on your server.
