Alliance in Z Route: Redemption

Published: 2026-10-27

An alliance is a group of players who speed up each other's timers, share a coin shop and unlock the group events. You can join one after you build the Alliance Center at Base level 4. This guide covers ranks, the Cabinet, research, the shop, help, excavation and the freight train.

What an Alliance Gives

An alliance pays back every day, not only in big events. Members shorten each other's construction, research and healing timers, research contributions turn into Alliance Coins, and the alliance shop sells items that are hard to farm elsewhere. Several events also run only for alliances.

How to Join

The Alliance Center is the building that unlocks membership. It needs Base level 4, and one guide adds Radar level 1. Raise your base first, and read the radar page for the radar levels.

After the Center is built, open the alliance window and choose an alliance from the list. Each entry shows the name, motto, leader, member count, power and language. Pick one that speaks your language and keeps its chat busy, because most events depend on people reacting fast. Once you are in, replace the default commander nickname with a readable one, and read the announcements and chat, where officers post plans and links.

Alliance Ranks

Every member has a rank from R1 to R5. The ranks you will see most often are these.

RankRole
R1Newest recruit
R4Officer; minimum rank for Cabinet appointment
R5Alliance leader, 1 per alliance

R4 and R5 members run the group content. They set up Alliance Ambush, place map markers with a timer and a label, and post the plan for the day in the announcements. Everyone else follows through chat. The Alliance Ambush page shows what an officer has to set.

Cabinet Seats

On top of R4 sits the Cabinet, four appointed seats. Leadership appoints R4 members; one seat per position.

SeatFocus
WarlordCoordinates battles and rallies.
ButlerHandles relations with other alliances.
RecruiterFinds and welcomes new members.
GoddessOrganizes alliance activities.

One guide suggests that a leader gives every officer a clear job and recruits active players over raw power, since a player with 20M power who logs in daily often adds more than an inactive player with 60M. It also suggests sending an alliance mail before a big fight with the target, the rally time, the objective and the reinforcement orders.

Alliance Research

Alliance research needs everyone's input. Research contributions earn Alliance Coins. Players donate Oil, and a contribution can trigger a x5 or x10 multiplier that pays a large pile of coins at once. The buffs stack on top of your personal stats, which makes them useful against a rival of similar power.

Officers star a single priority node, and a guide advises sending all contributions there, since a branch finishes sooner and its buff unlocks for everyone. Another habit is to donate again every 2 to 3 hours, so that the timer does not stay at its cap. A rule of thumb from the same source puts all contributions into the War tab until about day 60 to 70 of a server. See the research page for your personal trees.

Alliance Shop

Alliance Coins buy UR Omni Hero Shards, speedups and Teleports. The shop restocks every Monday. A guide suggests starting with rare shards and Peace Shields, Teleports and Talent Resets, and leaving food and metal for last, since basic resources are easy to farm. The heroes section explains what the shards raise, and the resources page covers the basic materials.

Alliance Help

Help is the feature you use most. After you start a long build, research or healing, alliance members can help you, and every help shortens that timer. Helping others earns Alliance Coins for you. One guide lists 4 help slots at Alliance Center level 1 and 5 at level 2, so a higher Center means more helps on every timer.

Alliance Excavation

An alliance excavation, also called an alliance dig, shows on the radar as a yellow excavator icon. Every member who joins gets rewards, so the goal is to bring in as many people as possible before the timer ends. Players report that each member who arrives cuts the remaining time by about half, down to a minimum of 10 seconds, and the rewards follow after that countdown.

  1. Find the icon on the radar and post it in alliance chat if more than ten members are online.
  2. Ask an R4 or R5 member to place a marker with a timer and a label for the dig. The marker appears for everyone 3 minutes before it ends, wherever they are.
  3. Let members who are far away enter first, because every early arrival shortens the timer for the rest.
  4. Walk along neighboring resource tiles instead of toward a distant ally. One guide says tiles are the faster route.

Freight Train

The freight train is the alliance transport run, also known as the Alliance Train. Updates added a final-boarding reminder, chat alerts when extra trains leave, push notifications for VIP invitations, a departure countdown, a prompt to appoint a Conductor and a battle log of past runs. Pillage runs let you choose a squad bonus, and arrival mail lists the VIP passengers. One guide says an R4 or R5 opens the train from the transport window and names the Conductor. Single truck runs are covered on the trucks page.

Auto Join Rally

Alliance Ambush has an offline auto join switch. When it is on, your highest power squad joins a rally that still has free slots and 60 seconds left. This keeps your damage coming while you are away. The rally rules and rewards are on the Alliance Ambush page.

Changing Alliances

You pick an alliance from the same list you used to join, so compare the language, member count and power first. For getting back to your alliance's territory, one guide lists the alliance relocator at 2,500 Alliance Coins and the advanced relocator at 7,500. Moving between servers is a separate step, and the servers page shows what changes with it.

Alliance Events

Alliance membership opens the group events. Alliance Competition runs 6 days a week, and the VS page lists every day and its points. Alliance Ambush is a 30 minute zombie fight. Battlefield: Pandora is a fight for the Bio-Research Base, and Capitol Conquest is a march on the Capital. Temporary buffs from minister posts help with the timers around these events.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join an alliance in Z Route Redemption?

Build the Alliance Center, which needs Base level 4. Building it unlocks alliance membership. Then open the alliance window and pick an alliance from the list. Every entry shows its name, motto, leader, member count, power and language, so compare the language and activity before you apply. Rename yourself from the default commander nickname once you are in.

What do alliance ranks R1 to R5 do?

R1 is the newest recruit and R5 is the alliance leader, with one leader per alliance. R4 is the officer rank and the minimum rank for a Cabinet seat. R4 and R5 members run group content such as Alliance Ambush, place timed map markers and post announcements, while regular members join the events they start.

How does alliance help work?

Alliance members can help each other, and every help shortens a construction, research or healing timer. Helping also earns Alliance Coins. One guide lists 4 help slots at Alliance Center level 1 and 5 at level 2, so upgrading the Center makes your own timers shorter.

What is alliance excavation?

Alliance excavation is a shared dig that shows on the Radar as a yellow excavator icon. Every member who joins receives rewards. Players report that each arriving member cuts the remaining time by about half, down to 10 seconds, so the whole alliance should enter fast. Officers can place a timed marker to call everyone at once.

What do Alliance Coins buy?

Alliance Coins come from research contributions and from helping members. They buy UR Omni Hero Shards, speedups and Teleports in the alliance shop. A guide suggests spending on rare shards, Peace Shields, Teleports and Talent Resets before food or metal. The shop restocks every Monday.

What is the alliance Cabinet?

The Cabinet is a set of four appointed seats: Warlord, Butler, Recruiter, Goddess. A member needs rank R4 and an appointment from leadership, and each seat has one holder. Guides describe the seats as war coordination, diplomacy, recruiting and event organizing. The Cabinet is separate from the five temporary Official Positions, which are covered on the ministers page.
