Z Route: Redemption Guides

Published: 2026-10-27

The strategy that works in Z Route: Redemption is simple: pick five heroes for your core team, push the Base forward because it caps hero levels, never leave a timer idle and find an active alliance quickly. This page turns that plan into stages, lists the Base milestones to aim for and links every guide and section of the site, including the stage walkthrough.

New players need three guides and three quick references. The beginner guide covers the first day and week, the power guide explains what to upgrade and in which order, and the tips page collects the habits that save resources.

Strategy by Stage

The game opens up in layers, so the best move changes as your Base level grows. Four stages cover most of it.

Day one

Finish the tutorial, collect the rewards, reach Base 4 and join an alliance as soon as the Alliance Center opens. Redeem the working gift codes before you spend anything, and open the Road to Survival event. The beginner guide has the full six-step routine.

Week one

Pick the type of your main squad, Warrior, Tactical or Assault, and put everything into one squad. Build only what the next Base level lists. Use both builders and the research queue all the time, do each beginner event and send free marches out to gather before you log off.

Early game

Bring the main five to the hero level cap, then make 4 stars the target for each of them. Research the Squad 1 tree, level every main-squad gear piece to 10 before pushing any to 20, and open the fighter at Base 15. Each Base level adds 5 to the hero level cap, so the Base remains the main brake on growth.

Late game

At Base 30 the hero cap is 150. From there the work is 5-star heroes, higher gear levels, research for the alliance competition and a strong second squad. Weekly events take over the calendar, and the Alliance Competition sets which resource to save for which day. Raise power in the order shown on the power guide.

A video overview of the early game pairs well with the stage plan above.

Walkthrough

The campaign is a long run of stages. In each one your squad moves forward, picks between gates and fights through zombie waves to an elite enemy or boss. The Road to Survival task list calls these stages blocks, while fan guides say stages, so you will see both words. The stages page goes through the hard ones.

Gate choice follows the stage: take supplies and stat boosts early, take calculated risks if your squad is strong, and play it safe just ahead of a boss. One guide advises pushing the campaign until you hit a real wall, and then improving the main squad instead of retrying a stage it cannot clear.

Base and Progression

Every system that raises your squad has its own page. Start with the Base, research and troops, then add gear, the fighter and the shops.

Heroes and Squads

Hero choice decides how fast the campaign and the events go. These pages explain factions, rank the heroes and show how to build a squad.

These heroes have pages of their own: Monroe , Carter , Aria , Nora , Lucian , Leah , Bekka , Dirk , Arnold , Silas , Vince , Victor , Yana , Kim Mina , Lee Yu .

Events and Alliance

Events and the alliance run on a weekly clock. Plan resources around them and you get more from every speedup and summon.

Game Info

The rest of the site covers where to play, how servers and accounts work, and what is new.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best strategy in Z Route Redemption?

Focus your EXP, shards and gear on a single five-hero team. The Base sets the hero level cap, so upgrade just the buildings that the following Base level asks for. Keep construction and research queues running, get into an active alliance soon, and spend premium currency on scarce items such as UR shards instead of ordinary resources.

Is there a walkthrough for Z Route Redemption?

The campaign is a long run of stages that end with an elite enemy or boss, and the stages page covers the hard ones. One guide advises pushing the campaign until you hit a real wall, then strengthening the main squad before trying again. Do not repeat a stage your squad cannot clear. Upgrade, then return.

Where should a new player start?

Start with the beginner guide. Finish the tutorial, reach Base 4 to open the Alliance Center and the Road to Survival event, redeem current gift codes and begin your main squad. After the first day, follow the daily routine from the same guide and read the tips page for habits that save resources.

What should I do every day in Z Route Redemption?

One guide gives a short routine: keep the construction and research queues running, do the daily missions, finish the radar tasks, spend your stamina and claim the free relocator on Saturday. Add the Arena, Mission Readiness and Giant Invader as time allows. Before logging off, send free marches to gather and start a timer.

How do I get stronger faster?

Raise the Base, bring your main five heroes to the hero level cap, then add stars, skills, gear and research for that squad. Soldiers add power quickly but die in raids, so they come last. The power guide explains the order, shows where power comes from and lists the mistakes that waste resources.

Is Z Route Redemption free to play?

Free play works fine. Claim gift codes, collect the free daily rewards and pay only for what is hard to farm. Buying diamonds directly gives the weakest return in the shop, and basic resources are easy to gather. The tips page has a section for free-to-play players.
