Aria in Z Route: Redemption
Aria is an SSR Warrior Backline shooter with physical damage. The tier list page averages her to A from 7 lists, though only 2 of them agree and single lists run from C to S. Her value is a passive that lifts the damage of back-row Warriors against monsters, and she is the one purple hero that can reach UR.
Aria Skills
Aria uses the standard purple kit of four slots, and the last slot is the specialty skill shared by every SSR hero. General level and star rules live on the heroes page, so the table covers only Aria.
| Skill | Type | Effect | Star upgrades |
|---|---|---|---|
| Automatic Rifle | Auto attack | Fires pulse bullets every 1.4 seconds. | Bonus damage of 25% at 1 star, rising to 155% at 5 stars. |
| Unload Magazine | Active battle skill | Rapid fire at enemies, recharged every 9.1 seconds. | Same ladder: 25%, 40%, 75%, 105%, 155% at stars 1 to 5. |
| Zombie Hunter | Passive, team buff | Back-row Warrior allies deal more damage to monsters: 10.75% at skill level 10 and 22.85% at level 30. No effect against players. | 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% extra at stars 1 to 5. |
| Wasteland Wanderer | Specialty skill, personal | A flat personal boost of 10% to ATK, DEF and HP once she is level 31 with 4 stars. | None. |
The two damage skills share one star ladder, so a single star step improves both at once. The percentage of ATK each hit deals is quoted differently by different guides, because they read it at different skill levels, so this page gives star bonuses and no single damage figure.
Skill Priority
One guide ranks the skills this way, and a second purple hero guide agrees on the first pick.
- Unload Magazine. It is the burst skill and the main reason her damage keeps up with the other purple shooters.
- Automatic Rifle. It fills the gaps between bursts, with a 1.4 second cycle.
- Wasteland Wanderer. Take it as soon as hero level 31 and 4 stars are in reach, because the 10% stat bonus is the same on every purple hero.
- Zombie Hunter. Spend skill books here first only when monsters are what stops your squad.
The same guide warns against chasing 4 stars on every SSR hero, because the specialty bonus is identical on all of them. Unlock it on the purple heroes you intend to keep.
Aria UR Upgrade
Aria can move from purple SSR to gold UR. The Season Shop sells a Promotion Medal, which an English shop guide lists, and Russian-language guides tie that medal to Aria. According to them you bring her to 5 stars first, buy the medal with season points and apply it to her. The same guides say the shop opens on day 9 of a season and then stays open, so there is no deadline pressure.
The Russian-language sources describe a new, much stronger third skill for the promoted Aria and a bigger stat bonus from the fourth skill. UR heroes get 20% ATK, DEF and HP from that bonus instead of 10%, as the heroes page shows. Because English sources do not describe the promoted kit, this page does not quote its numbers.
Stats and Gear
In one guide sample, a level 150 Aria with 5 stars and an empty gear slot shows 16,113 ATK, 287,461 HP, 2,078 DEF and 351 command, for 845,485 power. Her attack is fourth among the 12 SSR heroes in that sample, and her HP will not hold a front slot. She stands in the back row, and gear follows the attacker order: Rifle and Scope first.
Best Team for Aria
The usual SSR monster squad puts Zara and Toxina in front and three back-row Warriors behind them: Aria, Logan and Rachel. A Russian-language guide has a starting purple squad with Rachel, Nora and Aria in the back instead.
| Partner | Why it works |
|---|---|
| Zara | The strongest SSR tank, so the back row has time to fire. |
| Logan and Rachel | Back-row Warriors that receive the Zombie Hunter buff and keep their skills in PvP. |
| Nora | Also a back-row Warrior. Swap her for Rachel when the squad farms resource zombies. |
| Toxina | Second front slot next to Zara. |
Players also use her in the front row on the daily big boss, with three back-row Warriors behind her so all three get the buff. Treat that as a boss trick and not as a standard formation. The squad guide covers the full formations.
Aria vs Nora
Both are SSR Warrior back-row heroes whose passives work only against monsters. The numbers below come from one level 150 sample and from the tier list data.
| Point | Aria | Nora |
|---|---|---|
| Tier | A, 2 of 7 lists | B, 3 of 7 lists |
| Passive | Buffs back-row Warriors against monsters | More monster damage and more gathered resources |
| ATK at level 150 | 16,113 | 13,880 |
| HP at level 150 | 287,461 | 350,330 |
| Power at level 150 | 845,485 | 849,186 |
| Gold version | Can be promoted to UR | Stays purple |
Aria hits harder and helps the squad, while Nora tanks a little more and pays back in resources. One review site says Aria sits very close to Nora in usefulness, and the Russian-language tier video places Aria far higher. Pick Aria for the main monster squad and keep Nora for farming.
Is Aria Worth It?
Yes, if your march is Warrior and the content is monsters. She is free to star from common shards, buffs a squad you already own and has a UR path. Skip her for PvP, and do not expect a standalone damage dealer on the level of UR heroes like Monroe. The tier list shows where she ranks against everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Aria good in Z Route Redemption?
Yes, for monster content. The tier lists split on her: the verdict is A, but single lists range from C to S. Her Zombie Hunter passive makes back-row Warriors hit monsters harder, which suits campaign and boss squads. Against players that passive does nothing, so she is a poor pick for PvP squads.
Can Aria become a UR hero?
Yes. Russian-language guides say a 5 star Aria can be promoted to UR with a Promotion Medal bought for season points in the Season Shop. Check the Season Shop in the game for the medal price before you plan around the promotion.
Which Aria skill should I level first?
One guide puts Unload Magazine first because it is her burst skill, then Automatic Rifle. Take Wasteland Wanderer once she reaches hero level 31 and 4 stars. Zombie Hunter comes last unless monsters are the content you struggle with, since it helps only the back-row Warriors beside her.
Aria or Nora, who should I raise?
Raise Aria first if you only have shards for one. She buffs the Warriors behind her against monsters, scores higher in tier lists and has a UR route. Keep Nora for the squad you send at resource zombies, where her gathering bonus is the reason to field her.
Where do I get Aria shards?
Aria shards drop in early-server events, radar missions and standard draws, so many accounts can star her without spending. Hero Pass rewards may add a few more, according to a Russian-language source. Drop rates change between servers and seasons, which makes the in-game event list the better guide for current offers.
Who should stand next to Aria?
Put other back-row Warriors beside her, such as Logan, Rachel or Nora, because Zombie Hunter buffs only that group. Zara and Toxina hold the front in the usual SSR Warrior squad. Lee Yu, Celeste and Taylor belong to other factions and miss the buff.
