Leah in Z Route: Redemption

Published: 2026-10-27

Leah is a UR Tactical sniper in the Backline, rated S in 6 of 7 popular tier lists; the full table is on the tier list page. A helicopter called by her active skill strikes the whole enemy side at once, so she is the damage core of a Tactical squad. She is also one of only three heroes with an exclusive weapon.

Leah Skills

Her kit holds a rifle, a helicopter call, a self-only passive and the specialty skill that comes with UR rarity. All of it deals Radiation damage. For how levels and stars work in general, see the heroes page. The table below covers only what is particular to Leah.

SkillTypeUnlocks atEffectStar upgrades
Rapid-Fire Sniper Rifle Auto attack Base skill Fires the sniper rifle every 1.45 seconds. Extra damage: 35% (1 star), 130% (3 stars), 265% (5 stars).
Black Hawk Call Active battle skill Hero level 5 Calls an armed helicopter that hits all enemy heroes with Radiation damage. Helicopter hits gain 35% at star 1, 130% at star 3 and 265% at star 5.
Box Breathing Passive, personal Hero level 21 Raises Leah's own critical hit chance. It does not buff allies. Steps of 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, 15% from star 1 to star 5.
Doomsday Judgment Fourth skill, personal Level 31 with 4 stars ATK, DEF and HP climb 20%, and cooldowns run 10% faster. Flat from the unlock onward.

The helicopter is what sets Leah apart from the other snipers. Black Hawk Call has no target row to choose, because every enemy hero takes the hit, so the position of an enemy tank or a hidden backline changes nothing. Its description lists pure damage, with no DEF cut and no stun.

Skill Priority

Leah has no team skill to put first, so the order follows damage per book.

  1. Black Hawk Call. It reaches all enemies and its star bonus climbs from 35% to 265%, so the first skill books go here.
  2. Rapid-Fire Sniper Rifle. The 1.45 second rifle fills the gaps between helicopter calls with steady Radiation damage.
  3. Box Breathing. It adds up to 15% critical chance at 5 stars, but only to Leah.
  4. Doomsday Judgment. It waits for 4 stars and hero level 31, so it comes last.

Stars cap skill levels for every hero, so the same shards that unlock Leah's fourth skill also let the helicopter reach higher levels. A Tactical account usually starts with Bekka and Leah as the pair that gets the shards first.

Leah Exclusive Weapon

Leah owns one of the three exclusive weapons in the game, alongside Monroe and Yana. Reports tie it to the 5 star milestone and give it 30 upgrade levels, so it is a long-term target and not something to chase on a young account.

The weapon is built around the Tactical faction. At the start of a battle Leah gains radiation damage charges for each Tactical hero in the squad, the helicopter version of her active skill hits harder, and a faction skill raises HP, ATK and DEF of allied Tacticals. Another effect opens the fight with a helicopter strike on the two front enemies. Every one of these effects counts Tacticals, so a squad with a hero of another faction loses part of the bonus. Universal exclusive weapon shards level an owned weapon but cannot unlock a new one.

How to Get Leah

Guides name more than one route to Leah: the Oasis Market event, a store promotion and recruitment in the Tavern. Availability differs by region and shifts with events, so look at the current offers in the game before you spend shards or money. Free gift codes can fill the wait.

Stats and Gear

Measured at level 150, 5 stars and no gear, Leah shows 445,641 HP, 351 command and 1,073,121 power, and her ATK is about 23,600. Arnold reaches 933,798 HP, more than twice as much, which is why Leah never stands in the first row.

Treat her gear like a sniper kit: Rifle to the cap first, Scope after it. Defensive pieces do little for a hero who is meant to stay behind the tank.

Best Team for Leah

Her best formation is a squad of five Tacticals with a 20% faction bonus. The front row is Bekka and Virgilio, and Leah takes the back center between Katya and Silas.

PartnerWhy it works
Bekka The strongest pure tank next to the strongest pure damage dealer of the faction. The pair is used in the arena and against bosses, and Bekka's Radiation damage reduction fits a squad that deals Radiation itself.
Vince Holds the enemy's attention in front, so Leah can fire without taking the burst. He is an Assault hero, so he trades part of the faction bonus.
Silas A Tactical backline hero who stands on Leah's side in the full faction squad.

Virgilio and Katya complete the five-Tactical formation. The squad guide shows more formations and slot positions.

Leah vs Monroe

The two are the top Backline snipers of their factions, and both deal Radiation damage.

HeroFactionTierATK at level 150
Leah Tactical S, 6 of 7 lists about 23,600
Monroe Warrior S, 6 of 7 lists about 25,300

Monroe has a little more attack and spreads rockets over random targets. Leah hits every enemy at once and fits the faction that beats Warriors. You do not need to pick on stats: the faction you can fill with five UR heroes decides it. The tier list places both near the top.

Is Leah Worth It?

Yes, if you play Tacticals. She holds the S tier with 6 of 7 lists in agreement, and the one remaining list places her a step lower. The cost is fragility and a build that depends on the faction: her weapon and her best squad both need Tacticals. In that squad she is the main source of damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Leah good in Z Route Redemption?

Yes. Leah is rated S in 6 of 7 popular tier lists and is the leading hero of the Tactical faction. Her helicopter skill hits every enemy hero, and her damage is Radiation. The weak point is HP: 445,641 at level 150 will not hold a front line, so she needs Bekka or another tank in the first row.

How do I get Leah?

Guides list several routes: the Oasis Market event, a store promotion and recruitment in the Tavern. Which of them is open depends on your region and the current events, so check the offers inside the game before you spend anything. Heroes are collected as shards, and the heroes page explains how shards turn into stars.

Which Leah skill should I level first?

Black Hawk Call. It is the skill that hits all enemies, so more levels there add the most damage. The sniper rifle comes second, Box Breathing third and Doomsday Judgment last, because it needs 4 stars and hero level 31. Raise her stars alongside the skills, since stars set how far each skill can go.

Does Leah have an exclusive weapon?

Yes, Leah is one of three heroes with one, next to Monroe and Yana. It needs the 5 star milestone and gives her damage charges for every Tactical hero in the squad. Because the charges follow the number of Tacticals, the weapon is strong only in a five-Tactical squad and a poor choice for a mixed one.

Who is the best partner for Leah?

Bekka is the best partner. She is the Tactical tank in front, and her Radiation damage reduction suits a squad built around a Radiation carry. For a full squad add Virgilio in front and Katya and Silas on the sides, which gives the five-Tactical formation with the full faction bonus.

Is Leah better than Monroe?

They fill different squads. Leah leads the Tactical faction and Monroe leads the Warrior faction, and Tactical heroes take less damage from Warriors. Choose the faction you can fill with five heroes. Both are rated in the top tier, so neither choice is a mistake as long as the squad shares one faction.
