Lucian in Z Route: Redemption
Lucian is a UR Warrior sniper who stands in the Backline. He is rated S in 6 of 6 popular tier lists, all of them compared on the tier list page. He has the highest attack of any UR hero and his Tesla Coil arcs hit up to 5 random enemies. Getting him is less simple than for other URs, because he has several possible routes.

Tesla Coil is the skill to watch. It chooses targets at random, so it does not aim at a row, and every extra star step adds an arc. At 4 stars it sends 5 arcs per cast, against 3 on a fresh hero. The names Stun Gun and Tesla Coil suggest crowd control, but the skill descriptions list damage only.
How to Get Lucian
Sources give two different answers. English guides say Lucian is available through the Hero Pass and is not part of the free pool. Another guide lists the Oasis Market event and Tavern recruitment instead. Look at the Hero Pass first, then at the market and the Tavern in your own game.

He has no team skill, so the order follows the damage that grows fastest.
- Tesla Coil. Stars add arcs, from 3 to 5, and each arc hits a random enemy.
- Stun Gun. The auto attack fills time between Tesla Coil casts and gains up to 265% bonus damage from stars.
- Frankenstein. The crit chance bonus peaks at 15% with 5 stars and helps Lucian alone.
- Doomsday Judgment. Last in line, since the skill opens only at hero level 31 with 4 stars.
Stars set how high skills can climb, so the order of shards matters more than the order of books. Guides rank Lucian behind Arnold and Dirk and next to Monroe for gold shards. One of them says a Lucian below 4 stars does not belong in the main squad.

Bare at level 150 with 5 stars, Lucian posts 26,726 ATK, the highest of all UR heroes, and 1,074,027 power. His HP is about 378,700, the lowest among URs, while Arnold has 933,798. This gap is the reason he always needs two tanks ahead of him.
Gear him like a sniper, with the Rifle ahead of the Scope. Whatever the pieces add stays on Lucian and never reaches the squad.

His strongest lineup is all-Warrior, 20% faction bonus included: Arnold and Dirk up front, then Monroe, Lucian, Carter in the second row.
